Down Goes Brighton! Hartand Dominates With a 15-4 Win

When these two teams met a few weeks ago, Mother Nature stopped the game short due to lightning. That game was tight and Hartland was gaining momentum and the lead just as lightning streaked across the sky. Mother Nature cooperated tonight with a warm evening and Hartland looked relaxed playing at home.

Scoring was quick to start the game and both teams traded goals. After the exchage of goals, Hartland dominated the draw controls and the pace of the game. They played patiently and worked their offense. The game was physical, as it usually is between these two teams.

Both teams respect one another and they always put on a good show. Hartland played well and the defense has continued to progress all season. Hartland limited Brighton to just two goals in the second half and the offense continued to play smart.

Amy Longe led Hartland with five goals on the night. Seniors, Ryan Skomial and Natalie Sochaki, each put three goals a piece
in the back of the net. Junior, Amber Crouse, helped control the pace of the game had two goals and two assists. Hartland travels to Waterford on on Wednesday. Hartland travels to Brighton on Saturday to finish their rain shortened game at 3pm.
