Hartland falls to #1-ranked East Grand Rapids

The East Grand Rapids defense played very tough in Monday's 17-8 win over Hartland. EGR held some of our top scorers, like Rachel Sharpe (#27) scoreless.

It was #1 vs #1. Division 2 leader, East Grand Rapids, defeated Division 1 leader, Hartland, by the final score of 17-8 on Monday night in Hartland. After a 6-6 tie at the half, East Grand Rapids' explosive offense was too much for Hartland to handle in the second half.

Scoring for Hartland was Ryan Skomial with four goals — followed by Courtney Lee, Haley Crouse, Natalie Sochacki and Ashley Collins with one goal each.


The JV team also finished on the losing end posting a 10-5 loss — moving them to 9-5-1 on the season.

Hartland travels to Waterford Wednesday.
