Hartland scores 27 on Northville
Hartland's last game before Spring Break was a blowout — beating Northville 27-2 at home. The girls (now 3-0) were amped and started scoring within seconds of the contest. By half time the score was 19-1. While Hartland tried to slow the pace and stall in the second half, they still managed to put another eight points on the board.
Leading all Hartland scorers was Ryan Skomial with seven goals. Natalie Sochacki put four in the net with Rachel Sharpe and Rachel Gibbs added three goals each. Scoring two goals each were Courtney Lee, Haley Crouse and Amber Crouse. Rounding out scoring for Hartland were Maggie Hogan, Annie Quinn, Taylor Pryde and Ashley Collins with one goal each.
Junior goalie Tabitha Ferguson didn't have much pressure from Northville thanks to her offense keeping the ball on the other side of the field and her defense forcing turnovers.
The JV team rocked the house — again! They easily handled Northville 18-2 to move to 3-0 on the season.
After break, Hartland faces Grand Blanc at home on April 18.
