Skomial fires-off 9 in 13-2 win over Huron Valley
Hartland (3-2) rebounded from Monday's loss to South Lyon with a huge win over Huron Valley Thursday night in Hartland. The Eagles out-scored Huron Valley 13-2 to take the win.
Nine of Hartland's 13 scores were courtesy of one player — sophomore sensation Ryan Skomial. Also scoring for Hartland with one goal each were Haley Crouse, Annie Quinn, Rachel Sharpe and Natalie Sochacki.
Hartland's defense played outstanding in the match-up, which helped keep the shots on goal to 15. Senior goalkeeper Kelsey Lavalley stopped an amazing 13 shots as well as intercepting several Huron Valley pass attempts.
The JV team continued their dominance with a 10-3 victory over Huron Valley. The win moves them to 5-0 on the season.
Hartland travels to Canton on Monday.
