Junior Ryan Skomial had five goals in Wednesday's semi-final game vs Ann Arbor Pioneer. Skomial will lead Hartland to their first-ever State Finals appearance in the history of the program.

Hartland's lacrosse team will be making the trip to the State Finals on Saturday after defeating Ann Arbor Pioneer, 16-11, in the Semi-Finals match-up Wednesday night in South Lyon.

Leading the Hartland scoring was Ryan Skomial with five goals, followed by Natalie Sochacki and Rachel Sharpe with three goal each. Haley Crouse added two goals, and Taylor Pryde, Amber Crouse and Courtney Lee scored one goal each.

Goalie, Tabitha Ferguson, was outstanding in the net — denying a barrage of shots by Pioneer's offense late in the game.
